Last night, while I was trying to doze off, I started thinking thru the expected announcement of Apple’s VR Headset. I had read the rumor that one item that Apple was going to do is give people the ability to see the users eye, by having a screen on the outside. This way when you are viewing thru the headset in “pass thru” mode, you can look eye to eye
I’ve always said that Apple let you know what is coming if you just look closely enough. This got me thinking about the FaceTime change a few years back that dynamically adjusted the video so that the eyes always looked at the camera.
This feature now makes sense… If I am in the VR space, and lookup the popup contact card that tells me who I am talking to, I don’t want them to notice I am not looking at them.
Just a thought.
