{"id":893,"date":"2014-07-02T20:01:52","date_gmt":"2014-07-02T20:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/triangleappshow.com\/?p=893"},"modified":"2022-12-15T06:46:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T11:46:37","slug":"my-continuing-experience-with-glass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelrowe01.com\/index.php\/blog\/my-continuing-experience-with-glass\/","title":{"rendered":"My continuing experience with glass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a few months with Google glass, and while it is interesting, I am still not overly impressed with the tech. \u00a0The idea is fantastic, but the implementation of applications so far is less than impressive. \u00a0Given that it is beta, I know things can only get better; however, I am starting to feel that Google is using this as a test platform for their android wear solutions. \u00a0The Google Now cards, that show up in glass, are starting to be THE way to program for android wear.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rowewp.mydrobo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Photo-on-7-2-14-at-3.58-PM.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-894\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rowewp.mydrobo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Photo-on-7-2-14-at-3.58-PM-300x200.jpg?resize=300%2C200&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Photo on 7-2-14 at 3.58 PM\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Is it the idea that is intriguing, or the actual tech? \u00a0I keep wondering if this is because of the requirement for tethering when I am out and about.
