Glass tour this morning. \u00a0They are starting their tour of the US with a stop in Durham. \u00a0Durham has a great startup community, and being surrounded by multiple colleges, universities, and tech companies, it is the home of great app developers. \u00a0So it was a natural for Google to start their tour here.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_772\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-772\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rowewp.mydrobo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_1427.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-772\" alt=\"The line was long, but it moved quickly.\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rowewp.mydrobo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_1427-150x150.jpg?resize=150%2C150&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-772\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The line was long, but it moved quickly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When I got there, right at 10am, the line was already several hundred people long. \u00a0It moved pretty quickly, which was good, and I was in the door and playing with glass in right at an hour. \u00a0Overall, it was very easy to use and did a pretty good job of dealing with all the noise in the hall. \u00a0Given I have glasses now, having had to give up contacts a while back, I was also pleased that the display was clear and legible. \u00a0Looking up into the sky lights, it did a good job of handling strong sunlight too.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_771\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-771\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-771\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Where all the action was.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The only problem I ran into was the wireless network. \u00a0My glass lost connection and we couldn&#8217;t get it to reconnect. \u00a0So I had fun taking video, pictures, and looking at the interface, but couldn&#8217;t get it to answer
